Sleep-over Part 2

My daughter's best friend will be staying in our house again for four days. My daughter couldn't be any happier.

Left-Over Brekkie

Yup, last night's dinner from Burgoo was my brunch today - left-over baked macaroni which I just reheated in the microwave. Still tastes good.

My Day! :)

Yes, it is! It's my birthday today! It was well spent with the family. I did a lot of productive things during the day and ended it with a quiet dinner with the family. Thank You, God, for another year...praying for more great yearsss to come. And expecting another year full of blessings from You. :)

Cookies

After church my daughter and I had lunch at Savory again and proceeded to the grocery. We love trying out cookies. I bought a small box of Lexus (the cookie, I wish it's the real car...haha) just to see if it's good.


It tastes just fine. Nothing spectacular but good enough if you want some chocolate cookie.

A Full Day

Yes, it was a full day for me and my daughter but it was all good, all fun. We woke up earlier than usual for a Saturday because we will be attending my friend's daughter's birthday party. I had to go to the salon first to get my unruly hair fixed. I was really happy with the result.

Anyway, I met my friends at the party. I'm happy to see them. I think I was with them the last time on January this year. That was four months ago.


My daughter fancied a batman paint on her wrist during the party.


She also gave a short message to the celebrator. :)


We went home after to take a rest and mid-afternoon I brought my daughter to her rehearsals at Center for Pop. I proceeded to the gym. It took them a while to get finished. It was already past 8 PM when we left Center for Pop. We had dinner at Pancake again.


Hubby was on his way home so he picked us up at the mall. He did not like anything in Pancake's menu so we transferred to Shakey's. was full already so I opted for just a coffee.

Daughter's Favorite

This cute little girl in the picture is my daughter's favorite in her class at Center for Pop. I first noticed her when I decided to stay and watch the sessions. I find her really cute and charming. Turned out she's also my daughter's favorite.


My daughter and I had dinner at KFC in the nearby mall before going home. I like this P50 value meal of KFC. It even comes with a drink. Great! For a total of P140 tonight, my daughter and I had decent meals.

Mahogany

Finally had may hair dyed. It's still mahogany. I love its shade.

Waffle Foldover

I didn't know it's huge. It has two hefty scoops of vanilla ice cream and some peanut butter on the waffle. It's great though. I only had maybe three spoons and my daughter devoured all if it. I just got from the gym I don't think I'd waste my exercise on these even if they're very tempting.

Dessert

Our snack this afternoon is all about desserts.

Salon, Lunch, Shopping, Grocery

After church, my daughter and I did a lot of bonding. First up is our lunch at Savory. Finally I was able to coax my daughter to try it in this restaurant. Well, it didn't disappoint.

She loved the chicken and the gravy. You see, my daughter does not like gravy but she loves this particular gravy. I didn't take a taste it though. I just thought maybe it has bit of garlic flavor which she said yes to.


I ordered the pancit bihon guisado which I already tasted months ago. I love it! I was just surprised it was actually good for 3 persons. It costs P150. The take home I ordered before was over P200. But this seems even more. Maybe there's a packaging cost for take home.

The brewed coffee I ordered costs only P35 and it tastes better than other coffee shops.


We left the restaurant happy. They lack in warmth in customer service but the food is value for money.


We had our much needed haircut at David's Salon after. That was refreshing.


Full, we went out to shop. Daughter is happy too with her loots. The groceries come after. That is one of my favorite activities in the world. Haha.

Happy Monthsary!

It's our anniversary today as boyfriend and girlfriend. :) Like what my daughter said in her instagram, "it's mom and dad's monthsary!" Haha. Funny! The hubs brought home my cake. :)

CPMP Session

Since it was that time of the month, I decided to just watch my daughter while she was having her session at Center for Pop. Of course I was a doting mother. :)

While Watching a DVD

I craved yet again for cake so I called in delivery from Red Ribbon. While watching Awakening, I was munching on these.

Coolers

After my gym, I proceeded to pick up my daughter at Center for Pop. We were both starving so we dropped by Pancake House and had our dinner. Well I already had my grilled cheese sandwich at the gym so I just had halo-halo. It was good just like the halo-halo from Razon's. :)


Afterwards we went to the grocery and bought a few things including this iced tea in can which my daughter really loves.

Apple

I'm just glad that instead of chips, my daughter is now eating apple for her snack. :)

Exercise then Eat!

I decided to join the RPM class tonight. I was glad I did. It was an RPM Challenge class which I didn't realize when I was in the room. It was handled by my favorite RPM instructor. It was great!


Afterwards I met with my husband and daughter and we had our dinner at Napoli Pizzeria.

Daughter ordered her favorite appetizer, mozzarella bars.

I had carbonara, but this time, it came with fish fillet since they ran out of chicken. This is to share. Huge serving.


My husband had his seafood pesto pizza.


And before finally heading home, we bought a few sweets. I was craving for some cake and thought of just buying brownies which I could munch when we get home. Daughter fancied the chocolates from Cacao. She loves this multi-colored chocolates. We went home happy with our chocolate loots. Haha.

Dainty Little Fingers

I badly needed a pedicure so we trooped to the salon after church. As always, I tagged along my daughter and on a whim, I asked her if she wants to have her nails painted in summery colors. It's vacation anyway. It's just for fun! :)

She loved the idea but of course. This is the second time she had her nails done. The first one was two years ago I think on an Ipanema even we attended.

Her nails actually has two alternating colors thought it's not that obvious from the picture. Cute!

Birthday Party

I had this craving for cake and pancit. I thought of having a Red Ribbon delivery this afternoon. Our snack's peg is a birthday party. :)

Lights, Camera, Action

Well, my daughter is showing her new necklace with a camera pendant. She loves this as one of her favorite band members from One Direction, if I remember it right, has this one too.


I took a snapshot of one of the walls featuring all the enrollees of Center for Pop who went into show business and made a name for themselves.

After Church

My daughter and I did our groceries, among other things, after church yesterday. We dropped by Moonleaf for her Wintermelon milk tea. I was really hungry so we decided to eat at Shakey's. Afterwards we bought a few things which was not really planned so my daughter has her new shoes, top and necklace. I've new slippers. Talk about fairness. :)

I Settled

Sometimes really I don't know anymore what to eat since I have a conscious effort to eat moderately; avoid fattening foods. I settled for a grilled cheese from The Sandwich Guy after my body balance session. It's good! I want it again.

Foodie Family

Yes we are, haha. Anyway, after my daughter's school reservation and my bank errand this afternoon, we proceeded to Happy Lemon. My daughter was craving for her milk tea with oreo cookies.

We had our quick snack at Fuzion. The hungarian sausage with egg, mayo, pickles and tomatoes was good. We did our groceries again afterwards. I bought my husband his favorite pistachio ice cream and suman (sticky rice cake).

Dinner at Shakey's

The family had dinner at Shakey's after my daughter's rehearsal at Center for Pop Music and after my gym session. My husband loves their thin crust. My daughter loves their mojos with caesar's dressing.

What Happened?

You know that I love dining at Red Ribbon even if more often than not I find their service a bit slow. The customer interaction, especially by the managers, need a lot of improvement. But hey, I really love their cakes and pasta. My daughter, as I have shared a lot of times, love their pan-grilled chops and mashed potato.

But what happened to the chops???? It's gotten so little. The crew said "naka-grams po kasi". I know that but it's not really value for money anymore.

Coffee Almond Cookies

Ice cream again. The heat is unbearable that's why. Eating ice cream eases the heat somehow.

Cheetos

We went to the grocery after my daughter's rehearsal at Center for Pop Music. Been a while since we had Cheetos. It's always Lay's or Ruffles. Let me dig in. But we didn't consume all of this surprisingly. The bag is still 1/4 filled.

Happy Lemon

I had a dental visit this afternoon and I tagged along my daughter. It was fast and smooth. Thank You, God. :) We dropped by Happy Lemon before heading home as my daughter loves milk tea. This is her first time to try at Happy Lemon.

Finally settled for a large Milk Tea with Oreo Cookies. It costs P100. She loves it though. Better than Bubble Tea and Moonleaf according to her.


The family attended church late at night and I thought of buying hot pandesal. I suddenly had a craving. We dropped by Pan de Manila along Mindanao Avenue but it's closed. It's being renovated I think. We had to go to this other branch along Congressional Avenue so I can have my pan de sal fix.

Card Giving

Today is my daughter's school's card giving day. We were there before lunch time and thankful that whatever accounting issues raised to us was resolved without any further discussion. :)

My daughter met with some of her friends while I take care of other matters at school like reservation and small chit-chat with a mom of her former classmate.


We went to the groceries after and she bought this. My husband loves this too.

Creamy Tomato Pasta

I finally enrolled my daughter at Center for Pop Music. I am happy to note that we've done all our activities I set out to do. I went to my gym session after enrolling my daughter. We had our groceries after.

I was starving after my gym! My choice, creamy tomato pasta from KFC.

Noodles!

I rarely crave for noodles because I know this is not as healthy as other carbohydrates. I gave in tonight. We had instant noodles instead of rice with our Korean-style fried chicken.

Afternoon Bonding

I had two sets of duties at our church today. I am really thankful that I was able to to do them both well. After the our church in the afternoon, my daughter and I proceeded to one of her favorite milk tea shops, Moonleaf. She bought her wintermelon milk tea there and we had our snack at The Cake Box beside it. We had our groceries after which I consider still a bonding time for both of us as we both love doing the groceries.

Feels Like a Home-made Pizza

This is not a home-made pizza but it looks like it and tastes like it. Sometimes I miss this kind of pizza. No frills and yes, it's crunchy. Husband bought it from Greenjoy Pizza on the way home.
